Pohoda is a free, independent climate-mapping tool operated by:

Privacy

Pohoda has no user accounts, no advertising, no tracking pixels, and no analytics. We do not sell or share personal data. The site works without cookies.

Three technical services receive your IP address as an unavoidable part of serving the site, each acting as an independent provider:

Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts the site and delivers all map data. Your IP address is processed to serve requests and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

CARTO — provides the background map tiles (the streets and coastlines under the climate colours). Your browser requests tiles directly from CARTO's servers, which see your IP address. See CARTO's privacy policy.

OpenStreetMap Foundation (Nominatim) — powers the location search. When you search for a place, your query and IP address are sent to Nominatim. See the OSMF privacy policy.

Your preferences (dark mode, language, whether you've seen the intro) are stored only in your own browser via localStorage/sessionStorage and never leave your device. Legal basis for the processing above: legitimate interest in operating the site (UK GDPR / EU GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

To exercise data-protection rights (access, erasure, objection), contact the address above. We hold no data about you beyond standard, short-lived server logs at our hosting provider.

Data sources & attribution

Contains modified Copernicus Climate Change Service information (2026) — ERA5 reanalysis, ECMWF, processed via Google Earth Engine. Neither the European Commission nor ECMWF is responsible for any use that may be made of the information it contains.

Disclaimer

Pohoda shows modelled climatology — statistical expectations derived from 30 years of historical data and projected forward. It is not a weather forecast. Actual conditions on any given day will differ. The site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind; travel and booking decisions are your own responsibility, and to the maximum extent permitted by law we accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of this site.
