The wet side of Costa Rica: cloud forest on the divide, and a Caribbean shore on a different rainfall clock from the Pacific. Costa rica's caribbean and cloud forest barely has a temperature season: daytime highs move only about 2 °C across the whole year, from 26 °C in December to 28 °C in April. What changes instead is rain.

Sampling named towns rather than averaging the whole region avoids blending valley and mountain conditions into a figure true of neither.
