Place search and the place name shown when you click the map use Nominatim, the OpenStreetMap geocoder. Your search text and IP address are sent to it, as described in the privacy notice.

Terms: OpenStreetMap data under the ODbL, served under the Nominatim usage policy.

Crowds and tourism

Monthly tourism statistics are mapped onto the 26 fortnights and scaled within each region, so they show seasonality only. They are not visitor numbers and cannot be compared between regions.

Eurostat

Nights spent at tourist accommodation, tables tour_occ_nin2m (regional) and tour_occ_nim (national). © European Union.

Terms: Eurostat allows reuse without a licence if the source is indicated as Eurostat and any modification is stated. Pohoda normalises the values within each region. Eurostat reuse policy

National statistics

US National Park Service

Monthly recreation visits by park from the NPS Visitor Use Statistics. NPS describes material it creates for its website as generally in the public domain and appreciates a credit to the National Park Service. NPS reuse policy
